3 Things That Can Make or Break Your 2018 Goals

There are things that are upon first glance, seem like a good thing but depending on how you deal with it could turn out to be something that hinders you from achieving your goals.

Here are the among those seemingly positive things that could make or break your 2018 goals (Based on my experience)

1. Too Many Ideas

Ideas are great stuff, yeah. It's fun and exciting. It gives you something to look forward to.
Having too many ideas isn't always a bad thing itself but when does it turn out to be something that blocks you off from your goals? It all depends on how you handle it.

I remember wanting to do so many things. So much ideas kept popping up left and right that I struggled to see which ones I should prioritize and which ones are practical. These ideas could just end up being, well,  just ideas meaning you'll end up doing little to none of it.

Learn to narrow it down. Take one or a couple ideas at a time and pave a way to turn it into reality!

2. Waiting for "The Right Time"

Sometimes "the right time" could just mean "the right mood" for some people. It certainly was for me back then. More than something factual it can simply mean the right gut feeling which is entirely subjective. Is there even a right time? The perfect time may never come or it may have always been "now".

Keep on waiting for it and you'll be surprised to know that things could have turned out better when you did it yesterday.

If you're not prepared for something, then prepare and you won't really have something to wait on - since you're already making a move.

3. Breaks

In its simplest definition, taking some time off to regain energy or clear one's mind. Breaks are crucial every now and then. It keeps us sane - those are the good kind but sometimes breaks can be an excuse to be lazy. If you're taking a "break" just "because" then that's just probably laziness talking or maybe even depression in some cases.

Ultimately, it all depends on how you use these terms that can either make it a good thing or a bad thing.

What similar things could you add to the list?
